Prototype T41-2 Power Distribution Module Released

This is a PCB design for the “T41-2 Power Distribution Board”.

This board tidies up the power wiring in the T41 transceiver. The board has one 13.8 volt power input, and three 13.8 volt outputs:

  1. Output to the T41-2 Power Amplifier module. This output is not fused, as the Power Amplifier module has its own fuse.
  2. Output to the T41-2 Low Power Amplifier module. This output is fused.
  3. Output to the T41-2 transceiver. This output is fused.

There are four terminal blocks, one for 13.8 volts DC input, and three for the outputs listed above.

This board is a prototype which for various reasons was designed in 2025, but it was never published. I have been testing it in my prototype radios, and so far, so good.

If others want to use this design or make changes to it, the Kicad files are included along with a set of Gerber files ready for your favorite board fab.
